58d73ee56e Add vue-tsc (#32601)
As per https://vuejs.org/guide/typescript/overview#overview,
typescript's `tsc` does not support importing `.vue` files from `.ts`
files, so we need to use `vue-tsc` which patches in that support. Added
a convenience alias `make tsc` to run it.

9a166172a4 Update mermaid to v11 (#31913)
Update mermaid to
[v11](https://github.com/mermaid-js/mermaid/releases/tag/v11.0.0) and
enable the new [`suppressErrorRendering`
option](https://github.com/mermaid-js/mermaid/pull/4359) to ensure
mermaid never renders error elements into the DOM (we have per-chart
error rendering, so don't need it). Tested various chart types.

BTW, I was unable to reproduce that error rendering from mermaid with
`suppressErrorRendering: false` and I thought we had some CSS to hide
the error element, but I could not find it, not even in git history.

10b0ebc788 Add types to various low-level functions (#31781)
Adds types to various low-level modules. All changes are type-only, no
runtime changes. `tsc` now reports 38 less errors.

One problem was that `@types/sortablejs` does not accept promise return
in its functions which triggered the linter, so I disabled the rules on
those line.

1de0b0b4e7 use nolyfill to remove some polyfills (#31468)
We don't need to have polyfills down to Node v4. Some of our deps have
polyfills, and don't utilize the built-in implementation if available.
While this does decrease our package graph, I haven't been able to
notice any decrease/increase in page load times, although that could
likely be just because it's already pretty fast.

Nolyfill is https://github.com/SukkaW/nolyfill

updates to files generated with:

```shell
npx nolyfill install
npm update
```

Before this is/isn't merged, I'd be appreciative/thankful for other's
insights.

Edit: This isn't due to a specific individual. I am generally supportive
of them and their dedication to backward compatibility. This PR is due
to not needing those imports for our minimum requirements. Please don't
take this PR as commentary on anyone's character.

09e7b6e78c Add initial typescript config and use it for eslint,vitest,playwright (#31186)
This enables eslint to use the typescript parser and resolver which
brings some benefits that eslint rules now have type information
available and a tsconfig.json is required for the upcoming typescript
migration as well. Notable changes done:

- Add typescript parser and resolver
- Move the vue-specific config into the root file
- Enable `vue-scoped-css/enforce-style-type` rule, there was only one
violation and I added a inline disable there.
- Fix new lint errors that were detected because of the parser change
- Update `i/no-unresolved` to remove now-unnecessary workaround for the
resolver
- Disable `i/no-named-as-default` as it seems to raise bogus issues in
the webpack config
- Change vitest config to typescript
- Change playwright config to typescript
- Add `eslint-plugin-playwright` and fix issues
- Add `tsc` linting to `make lint-js`

b4a84d5cba Rework and fix stopwatch (#30732)
Fixes https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/issues/30721 and overhauls the
stopwatch. Time is now shown inside the "dot" icon and on both mobile
and desktop. All rendering is now done by `<relative-time>`, the
`pretty-ms` dependency is dropped.

Desktop:
<img width="557" alt="Screenshot 2024-04-29 at 22 33 27"
src="https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/assets/115237/3a46cdbf-6af2-4bf9-b07f-021348badaac">

Mobile:

src="https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/assets/115237/8a2beea7-bd5d-473f-8fff-66f63fd50877">

Note for tippy:
Previously, tippy instances defaulted to "menu" theme, but that theme is
really only meant for `.ui.menu`, so it was not optimal for the
stopwatch popover.

This introduces a unopinionated `default` theme that has no padding and
should be suitable for all content. I reviewed all existing uses and
explicitely set the desired `theme` on all of them.

ec27ef20d4 Replace coloris with vanilla-colorful (#30201)
Found [a better color
picker](https://github.com/web-padawan/vanilla-colorful) that [does not
rely](https://github.com/mdbassit/Coloris/issues/139) on
`querySelectorAll` or a global shared instance, and is also around a
third of the size of the previous one.

The popover is handled by tippy.js for which I introduced a new "bare"
theme and it uses a new sibling-based mechanism which should prove
useful later to create tippy popovers via HTML only.

53378c2bfb replace jquery-minicolors with coloris (#30055)
Get rid of one more jQuery dependant and have a nicer color picker as
well.

Now there is only a single global color picker init because that is all
that's necessary because the elements are present on the page when the
init code runs. The init is slightly weird because the module only takes
a selector instead of DOM elements directly.

The label modals now also perform form validation because previously it
was possible to trigger a 500 error `Color cannot be empty.` by clearing
out the color value on labels.

Use `happy-dom` again in vitest as it has caught up recently to `jsdom`

I encountered [one

easy workaround until fixed.

I regenerated the lockfile to get rid of the transitive dependencies so
that's why the diff also has some upgrades in it.

7f6ebae01f Use Temporal.PlainDate for absolute dates (#29804)
Use the upcoming
[Temporal.PlainDate](https://tc39.es/proposal-temporal/docs/plaindate.html)
via polyfill. If there is any remaining bugs in `<absolute-date>` this
will iron them out. I opted for the lightweight polyfill because both
seem to achieve our goal of localizeable absolute dates.

- With
[`@js-temporal/polyfill`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@js-temporal/polyfill)
chunk size goes from 81.4 KiB to 274 KiB
- With
[`temporal-polyfill`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/temporal-polyfill)
chunk size goes from 81.4 KiB to 142 KiB

Also see [this
table](https://github.com/fullcalendar/temporal-polyfill?tab=readme-ov-file#comparison-with-js-temporalpolyfill)
for more comparisons of these polyfills. Soon there will be
[treeshakable
API](https://github.com/fullcalendar/temporal-polyfill?tab=readme-ov-file#tree-shakable-api)
as well which will further reduce size.

1db4f7ca6f enable tailwind nesting (#29746)
Currently, if you implement native CSS nesting within a Vue component a
warning will appear in the terminal. It states
`Nested CSS was detected, but CSS nesting has not been configured
correctly.
Please enable a CSS nesting plugin *before* Tailwind in your
configuration.` To fix this error we need to enable the built-in
[tailwinds nesting
config](https://tailwindcss.com/docs/using-with-preprocessors#nesting).

Example code to trigger the warning within a vue component:

```CSS
<style>
.example {
  &:hover,
  &:focus-visible {
    color: var(--color-text);
  }
  & svg {
    margin-right: 0.78rem;
551ef9ced6 Add tailwindcss (#29357)
This will get tailwindcss working on a basic level. It provides only the
variables so a small amount of features do not work and I removed the
generated classes for them.
8c805eea35 Add eslint-plugin-github and fix issues (#29201)
This plugin has a few useful rules. The only thing I dislike about it is
that it pulls in a rather big number of dependencies for react-related
rules we don't use, but it can't really be avoided.
Rule docs:
0e72815805 Auto-update the system status in admin dashboard (#29163)
- Refactor the system status list into its own template
- Change the backend to return only the system status if htmx initiated
the request
- `hx-get="{{$.Link}}/system_status`: reuse the backend handler
- `hx-swap="innerHTML"`: replace the `<div>`'s innerHTML (essentially
the new template)
- `hx-trigger="every 5s"`: call every 5 seconds
- `hx-indicator=".divider"`: the `is-loading` class shouldn't be added
to the div during the request, so set it on an element it has no effect
on
- Render "Since Last GC Time" with `<relative-time>`, so we send a
timestamp
d3fcf32989 Implement contributors graph (#27882)
Continuation of https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/pull/25439. Fixes #847
#### Overview
This is the implementation of a requested feature: Contributors graph
(#847)
It makes Activity page a multi-tab page and adds a new tab called
Contributors. Contributors tab shows the contribution graphs over time
since the repository existed. It also shows per user contribution graphs
for top 100 contributors. Top 100 is calculated based on the selected
contribution type (commits, additions or deletions).
---
#### Demo
(The demo is a bit old but still a good example to show off the main
features)
<video src="https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/assets/32161460/9f68103f-8145-4cc2-94bc-5546daae7014" controls width="320" height="240">
</video>
#### Features:
- Select contribution type (commits, additions or deletions)
- See overall and per user contribution graphs for the selected
contribution type
- Zoom and pan on graphs to see them in detail
- See top 100 contributors based on the selected contribution type and
selected time range
- Go directly to users' profile by clicking their name if they are
registered gitea users
- Cache the results so that when the same repository is visited again
fetching data will be faster
